A talented swimmer studying at Solihull Sixth Form College has recently returned from competing in a prestigious swimming meet in Europe.
Nathaniel Shonubi-Severin represented the City of Birmingham Swimming Club at the Luxembourg Euro Meet from 27 -29 January 2023, participating in Breaststroke, Butterfly and Freestyle. He joined the City of Birmingham Swimming team a year ago when he moved to Birmingham from South-East England.
Nathaniel commented:
“I achieved the long course qualifying times needed to take part in this meet; the opportunity to race in Europe alongside outstanding international competitors was a huge learning experience for me and the team. I’m working towards the upcoming Nationals.”
Currently studying A level Economics, German and Mathematics, Nathaniel intends to progress on to university to study Economics and continue swimming competitively.
